Lune Valley 24th June - 2nd July

I was going to put it on here but unfortunately the file is too big even with the logos deleted.

It will be on Graary Canine / Showtime, Agilitynet Show Diary, the Agility Schedules FB page and Lune Valley Show FB group.

Re: One More Time

I admire those who don't follow the herd and use their own judgement as to what to do and when.

Re: One More Time

Just musing - There have always been people who push their young dogs too hard too soon, but what we are seeing nowadays is of a whole different order and the fact that so many people are making money out of agility is , I'm sure, in no small part to blame. There is pressure for those who sell thei...

Re: One More Time

Good sense from you as usual Tim.

And I don't think it's just puppies that are pushed too hard. We all need to take a long hard look at our own actions before blaming others when something goes wrong.

Re: Agility Jumps

Not from Blackpool but might it have been Edwina Brown from near Brough? The rest fits.

She's a member on here.

Can you post a photo of one of your jumps? We might recognise the style.

Re: Howard Weston

Never did anything by halves did Howard, whether inside the ring or out. You could hear him running his dogs a mile off and the look of disappointment on his face if he thought he hadn't been asked to help enough........ Try to give him a thank you? Forget it. Cheques went uncashed and free run vou...

Re: Otley DTS Agility SHow

We come anyway and it's a great show but would be better if it were 3 days. More relaxing to have 2 days not setting up or packing away and more money coming in for the work the club puts in. I think nowadays with the cost of fuel and the increase in the number of longer shows some 2 day shows are ...

Re: The Scribe KC newsletter

I didn't see Issue 1 of the Scribe but having looked at this one it should be very useful to have all the rule changes at a glance.

In the past I've found keeping on top of them all quite hard work.

And preferably as far away from me as possible.

I'm sick of people who think that no one else can smell or breathe in their smoke just because they happen to be outside.

Congratulations to Lune Valley Members

When you are helping to run a show it is so hard to concentrate on running your dog well but I have to pick out the following members - Ros Redman and Lochie who won out of Grade 1 with their first run at their first show Linda Collison and Fern who also won out of Grade 1 at their second show (fir...

Taking rosettes before the presentation

One of the most stressful things working in the admin department of a show is the time at the end of the day when judges are stacking in a holding pattern waiting to do their last presentations and handlers are queuing up wanting to take their rosette early and head off home. Whilst under normal ci...

Re: Your First Agility Class

I can't remember what the very first thing was either but my main concern was not knocking over the jump wings with my lead as my first dog had zero recall. Looking back I really wonder why I stuck at it. I do remember being told that he had to hit the contact but there was no instruction as to ho...
