Re: Thank You and Good Bye?

Thank You for the comments, much appreciated. We are still active just not with agility, Bryn belies his age and could probably do another year or two at anysize/allsorts but one run at a show? I think with that thought and the current economic climate, I've got my own monetary black cloud, it is p...

Re: Thank You and Good Bye?

Hi Pam. My comments were lifted straight from Facebook and so you are right about that, but there has been the odd bit of un-necessary exchange of strong opinion shall we say on here, thankfully not as bad as some of the Facebook exchanges. As to breaking away from agility altogether, I doubt it wi...

Thank You and Good Bye?

Apologies if you have read this on Facebook. ‎ 14 years ago this week I brought home an 8 week old spotty faced collie called Bryn. He was bred by an agility person and so I thought we would give it a go once Bryn was old enough. We even went to the Vyne show before we picked him up to see what it...

Re: Presentations

I would always make an effort to be there with Bryn when we were lucky enough to get placed. It was a chance to Thank the judge and, I felt, put the icing on the cake. I have also been in the position where I have requsted whatever we had won if I had to go before the Judge's presentation. I think i...

Re: Hockey shoe recommendations?

Not just to be different, but it's Ditas for me, I even wear them for off road running, never slipped or lost my balance in them.

Re: peter puvis

Maybe if they used the Red Button facility like they do on other channels when I watch rugby, you can chose which commentary you want to listen to.

Re: Missing agility?

Watching the iSS entries on Facebook is making me miss the thrill of looking out for shows opening up for entering, booking camping, and making sure I book leave in plenty of time. It came home to me when I saw Golden Valley is open. Not my favourite location, that is the Wye Valley one by the rive...

Re: Vivitonin

Thank you for those kind words Serena. Bryn has been off the Vivitonin for a few days now and I haven't noticed any change, apart from a bit of collie wobbles if he over does direction changes. He is still in his umpteenth puppyhood,I had a tennis ball, a dog proof chew and two tuggys dumped in my ...

Re: people carrier or van? Help!

I have used a couple of Espaces over the years, great for multi purpose use, but I think if I was just starting again I'd go for a decent van like a VW, perfect if you have a nice car as well.

Re: Vivitonin

My old dog (nearly 15) has been on Vivitonin since 2008 - for prevention of further Vestibular episodes. I have been advised that you should not just suddenly stop this drug - it should gradually be reduced. After reading this I reduced Bryn to one a day for the last couple of days he had his la...

Re: Vivitonin

Bryn seems to have regressed a couple of years lately, possibly due to the Vivitonin, whatever it is a joy to see him so lively, although having a ball dropped into your lap repeatedly after 9:00pm is going a bit too far some evenings! He has a couple of days left on the drug so it will be interesti...

Vivitonin

Does anyone have a dog currently on, or has taken, Vivitonin? We do and the result is a new puppy in the house, problem is this puppy is nearly 14 years old! Bryn had a vestibular episode just before Christmas which resulted in him having a course of this drug. Along with two other treatments whichI...
