Re: New to agility.... book recommendations

One of the old but good books is Jumping A - Z by Christine Zink. I've used it a lot and still do.

One I've not read but heard good things about is Leslie McDevitt's Control Unleashed.

Good luck with your training and hope you're loving it. :)

Re: Lower Height Option

That's a pity if there's discrimination of that kind, Trish. On the whole I like what I've heard about the LHO, except for the following: - where combined awards are offered for FH and LH leading to complaints of unfairness to FH dogs. - that it does not address the 4th height issue, as there sh...

Re: One More Time

I agree with you, Tim, about the intensive early training and the tight turns around wings. There is only so much a body can do. :paw: :paw2:

Re: Does his agression mean he is in pain?

Poor lad to have gone through so much. He is lucky to be owned by someone who loves him as much as you clearly do. :hugs:

Re: Does his agression mean he is in pain?

I agree with Val, and I suggest you take your lad back to the vet for a checkover to see if the vet can figure out what is going on.

Re: Howard Weston

One of the truly great people in Agility, and for none of the usual reasons like gold medals though he had his share of success. Simply because he lit up every show he attended with his enthusiasm, helpfulness and good nature. I was very fond of him, bumping into him at a show always brightened up m...
